It's best if a parent supervises a small child who has this book so the child does not destroy the intricate pop ups. A great book for bedtime reading or when reading with a child. The sounds are great. My children 6 and 8 enjoyed it immensely. Includes details about the habitats and behaviors of the animals in the book. B: Animals Of The Night This is a wonderful book to acquaint children with nature. I work with a child in READS and he is almost a non reader. He loved that book. We took turns reading the pages. C: My 1 year old learned half her 30-word vocabulary from this book, she loves it so much! Of course, it also taught her how to howl like a wolf.
