The Dora the Explorer Video Play-a-Sound Book is an interactive storybook for children.
The book features 18 sounds and animations to help bring the story to life.
Children press the video/audio buttons to discover the characters and objects that Dora the Explorer, Boots, and Benny encounter on their adventure.
When a button is pressed, a brief animation of the object appears on the book's LCD screen.
For example, when the button for the owl is pressed, children hear an owl hooting and see it flying.
Dora's Hot Air Balloon Adventure tells the story of Benny losing his hot air balloon on the way to a race and asking Dora the Explorer and Boots to help him find it on Tallest Mountain.
The group runs into other favorite characters along the way, such as Tico and Swiper the fox.
Children press the video/audio buttons as Dora and her pals go through Froggy Pond, the Noisy Forest, and the Mucky Mud to get to Tallest Mountain.
The story ends with Dora the Explorer and her friends engaging in a celebratory dance.

A: It is a great book!
Very colorful and attractive. My daughter loved the sound effects so much that she ignored the video. Perhaps if the video was in color she would have paid more attention to it. The down-side is that the pages are soft and get torn easily.
Recommended for ages 3 years and older.
