I received Heidi Weimer's first book "Your My Little Love Bug" as a gift for my son when he was 6 months old. He absolutely loves this book, so when I found another book by Weimer I couldn't wait to buy it. He loves pushing the Heart on the front of the book which makes the music play. I love how this book is personalized for a little boy. I have aslo purchased the girl version to give as gifts to friends that have girls. Awesome Book....a MUST have!

I found this book in a store while shopping with my infant son and my mother over 3 years ago. My eyes were watering by page 2 and I was crying by page 5. When I got to the "hole in my heart" I had a lump in my throat and couldn't read any more. I had all but given up on ever having kids and then found out I was pregnant, the hole in my heart was very real and was filled by my boy. And my son LOVES the book. First it was the lights and music but now that he is almost 4 he is starting to really understand the message and really likes that too. The person that said that it was a negative book was way off!! This book is all about the most powerful love that exists on earth - the unconditional love that parents have for their kids. And it is a message beautifully written in a book that will be cherished for a lifetime. I am glad to see that there is a book for girls too.

I just purchased this book for our sons, Daniel 3 and James 1 as presents for their upcoming birthdays. It is a treasure and will be cherised for a very long time!!! It's a great book for the kids because it has a fun musical heart that plays a catchy tune when you press it as well as bright colorful pages and characters. It's wonderful for me as well because it's durable and sturdy for little hands. The language is great and is very meaningful but stated in simple terms. The store I purchased the books at didn't have the little girl version but it is available, thank goodness!! You won't be disappointed with this story and it will be cherised forever by children of all ages.
