We often have to turn it off and on to get it working again after nothing happens when it is swiped. Even so, I think my son is learning allot from this -- holding the wand, swiping various items on the page -- and am going to order the James version of this book. B: Disappointed with Description for Age. The book is described as appropriate for reading levels 4-8 yrs. The book has words that are appropriate for 4 to 8 yr. olds but the activities are boring for my 4 yr old after the first 2 weeks. Still fun but not appropriate for 8 yr olds.
